Queen Letizia of Spain chose a fitted knee-length dress with a colour-block pattern and stud detail. She teamed the slim-fitting dress with a pair of nude patent heels, to host the guests at the Royal Palace in Madrid.

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain were hosts for the afternoon at the event where Spanish writer Eduardo Mendoza will receive the 2016 Miguel de Cervantes Award

Queen Letizia and King Felipe were matching in their blue colours and smiled at the guests as they host the country's top authors in Madrid
